Absolutely. My favourite chair is on its third repair. There’s a story in keeping it going.

Should you ask AI to generate a name for your business?

I do not think that I would ever ask AI to generate a name for my business or company. A person should be creative enough to decide the name of his own company. So, would you ever ask AI to generate a name fir your company?

No, you should ask AI to help you by providing possible names for your business. AI is just an assistant, not the one who makes all the final decisions. You are the one who makes the final decisions, so you can use it, but always as what it is: an assistant.

Nope, the final decision should come from the founder, because your brand name has to mean something personal to you. When I named my own studio, phcodesage, and side projects like Jinjalume or Bugnaw Aircon Care, the best names came from mixing local roots or the actual problem the software solves.

AI is decent as a glorified thesaurus if you are stuck brainstorming keywords, but its raw suggestions usually sound like generic startup templates.
