Absolutely. My favourite chair is on its third repair. There’s a story in keeping it going.

How do you feel about AI-generated music?

I still don't think that AI-generated music beat track will ever stand where authentic live studio vibe is. I listen to one AI track last week, the beat was ok, but the lyrics sound awkward to me. With streaming algorithms already pushing fake artists left and right, local beatmakers might find it very tough to remain relevant. AI is already giving us good beats but the lyrics are still poor. What's your take on the present AI music wave?

Most are kind of eh, but there have been a couple that stick in my mind. I made one that I really liked and wish I could sing it better than the AI songstress!

I’ve heard some TV commercials use AI music, and it’s not pleasant.

The music producers might panic now because beat generation is so fast. It can be done in minutes. Even the commercial brands are now using cheap AI jingles. As a matter of fact, AI is everywhere.
