Humanoid robots with fully autonomous AI brains — are we ready for this?
We're moving past robots that just follow pre-programmed routines into ones running actual autonomous AI decision-making — reacting, adapting, and "thinking" in real time without human input. China's recent humanoid robot showcases reportedly pushed this further than Tesla's Optimus. Does an autonomous AI brain in a human-shaped body excite you, or does it cross into "this is how sci-fi movies start" territory? Where should the limits be?
That is exciting but scary. The fact that they can make decisions that doesn't need our approval makes it more scary. With the way AI is growing, we need a tough regulation around it.
