Absolutely. My favourite chair is on its third repair. There’s a story in keeping it going.

On what basis do users earn points? If it has anything to do with popularity of threads there are hardly any users online who would read the threads What else earns points for users?

@iamawriter I have never been a part of old Postloop, so I am not sure if users used to earn points in there. Having said that, it seems like points are used as incentives for completing an order and they could be converted to cash, I reckon.

Good question. I think points, or reputation points, are given by one user member to other user members if your threads or posts (also called replies) are appealing and found beneficial by other user members. Anyway, I wish @shortie would clarify this point.

Wishful thinking. Your thinking is good. Let us also wait @shortie's clarification!

At the moment, we do not have a points system set up on the PostLoop forum, and any earnings from PostLoop will be given for completion of work ordered.

The PostLoop system is currently in development and will hopefully be completed by December, at which point it will be similar to the old PostLoop setup with a few changes :)

If you mean the Reputation section within the section of your username and avatar, this is based on reactions you get on your posts, such as members liking your threads or replies :)

If there are hardly any members online as is the case these days how can anyone amass points?

The reputation points are built in, and I will double-check, but I do not believe they can be turned off, and they do not have any purpose at all; they do not reflect the work of writers.

You'd earn credits or points by posting on promoted forums on old Postloop, if that forum had credits, and your account was approved by the forum owner.
