Absolutely. My favourite chair is on its third repair. There’s a story in keeping it going.

There are many roads in the world that the said to be haunted. For example, Clinton road in the United States is said to be one of the most haunted roads. Apart from that, Stockbridge bypass in England is also said to be haunted as well. Some people also associate E8 highway in Malaysia to be haunted as well.

I don’t know about the world, but back when I lived in Northwest Indiana, there was a road that everyone for miles around knew about. I went down it twice with friends and didn’t see or feel anything at all, so I think it’s just a legend. The road has changed since then and I believe is private? It was called Reder Road (probably spelled it wrong). The mobs from Chicago used to dump bodies along that road and that’s how the ghost stories started.

Archer Avenue in Chicago i believe. Isn’t that the road you can see Ressurection Mary looking for rides?

The Legend

  • The Encounter: Since the 1930s, drivers traveling along Archer Avenue—usually between the former Willowbrook Ballroom and Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois—have reported picking up a quiet, blonde female hitchhiker wearing a white party dress.

  • The Vanishing: As the car approaches or passes the cemetery gates, the young woman abruptly vanishes from the backseat or the side of the road.

  • Burned Gates: Some of the lore even claims that Mary left scorched handprints on the iron gates of the cemetery.
