Fruits in our garden
With great enthusiasm I planted loads of fruit sapplings and they started yielding in their time. The yield sometimes is much more than our needs and despite distributing we still have more that we dump in the compost pits Not many would want to buy them.
Here is a video of the jack fruit tree that is showing off its yield

I have always loved a garden where fruits and vegetables could be grown. In our old house, we had a garden where we used to grow lemons and custard apples. We even had a mulberry tree as well.

Our Mangosteen started yielding just this year after many many years. We harvested the fruits on my birthday It is a unique fruit and not seen commonly around here. I cannot post the image here for the community to see. You can Google if you wish to
Sadly, we’re way too cold here for jackfruit, so that one’s off the table for us. But we do have apple, cherry, peach, pear, and nectarine trees, which keep things interesting. The two pear trees are new, though, and I’m not convinced they’ll make it; I keep trying to plant them in spots they clearly don’t want to grow in.
We also have a lot of berries in our garden, which is probably why we gravitate more toward fruit trees and berry bushes than traditional veggies. Once they’re established, it’s mostly just occasional maintenance, and then you get harvests every year. That’s a big part of the appeal for us, especially when I see posts like yours about big yields and sharing extras around the neighborhood.
I’ve tried indoor citrus too. They’ll do great for years, and then I’ll have one lapse in watering and… that’s the end of that. We’ve gotten lemons and limes in the past, but right now I don’t have any going. Maybe someday I’ll try again when I’m feeling brave enough to commit to the watering schedule.

Fruit trees when they are established they do not need much attention. They yield when it is their time . It is the vegetables and plants like lemons that need attention If you forget to water then that is the end of them. Hope you will be more vigilant from now on

I think that plants and trees do need attention. You need to make sure that you water them enough. Apart from that, they need to get fertilized. You also need to use pesticides as well and this is a very important factor when it comes to plants.
