Many people think that diversification can help you make better investment decisions. They also claim that you should always diversify your portfolio. However, diversification does not work when a major market recession occurs and this is what we witnessed during the 2008 financial crisis and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Stick markets could crash unexpectedly. So, is diversification really overrated?
