Absolutely. My favourite chair is on its third repair. There’s a story in keeping it going.

How do you create an international community?

An international community is a kind of forum where you will find community members from all over the world. Getting people from all over the wood could really help your community in many ways. Just think about it! This will also make your community popular at an international level as well.

Working from the Philippines with teammates and clients across the US, Europe, and Asia has taught me that international communities thrive when nobody feels left out by time zones or regional slang. Choosing broad, universally relatable topics and avoiding country-specific references in thread titles helps newcomers jump right in.

It also helps to have moderators or active regulars spread across different time zones so someone in Asia or Europe doesn't have to wait twelve hours for a reply or approval.
