Absolutely. My favourite chair is on its third repair. There’s a story in keeping it going.

Has AI Made Us Smarter or Just More Dependent?

Many people may think that humans are quite smart and this is why they invented AI and AI is dependent on humans. However, it seems like now more and more people are actually dependent on AI. So, Has AI Made Us Smarter or Just More Dependent?

Honestly, it depends on whether you treat AI like a bicycle or a crutch. Just like GPS made most of us terrible at reading paper street maps, leaning on AI for every tiny thought can definitely make your brain lazy.

In my own programming work, I notice that if I let autocomplete write too much without questioning it, my recall of standard library syntax gets rusty. Using it to challenge your thinking makes you sharper, while outsourcing your thinking creates dependency.
