There is no doubt that technology could be misused against any kind of nation on earth. Military technology has been developing so much and this is one of the main concerns in the noern era. So, are you afraid of technology?

I'm more scared of people than the technology. AI and drones aren't bad in a vacuum but that doesn't mean I want Palantir developing with it.

I’m not really afraid of technology, though I do worry that AI will completely take over. AI at it’s core is a tool, I understand that but some people abuse it. :\

I wouldn't say I'm scared of technology itself since I write software for a living, but I definitely share your concern about how automated systems can be misused at scale.

Beyond military tech, what worries me in everyday life is how fragile and centralized our digital infrastructure has become, along with deepfakes and automated scams targeting non-technical family members. Technology is fantastic when it solves real problems, but it needs strong guardrails and human accountability behind the scenes.
