La Llorona is one of the most popular urban legends in the European region. According to various narrations, La Llorona was a woman who married and then got separated. She was going through a really tough tine in her life and she drowned her own children in the river. She then regretted what she had done and then she began weeping. Some versions if the story suggest that she died from grief. On the other hand, some versions suggest that she drowned herself. Her spirit is said to roam around in forests.
