In various ancient folkore, many people associated various foods with bringing curse. Some of those foods include witch's cake and Okiku’s Rice Bowl. Some people even believe that chocolate boxes that are left at graveyards could be cursed. So, do you think that food could be cursed?

This is the first time I have heard about food being cursed, but I could see how in some cultures and even countries this could be possible.

I also found this quite interesting as well when I conducted research about it while writing the thread content. Apart from Okiku’s Rice Bowl, there are various other types of foods that are said to be cursed. Some other examples include fairy food which was said to be cursed, according to European folklore. In some cultures and traditions some foods are said to be bewitched. Eating such foods was believed to bring misfortune and misery.
