Social media sites are full of bullies and toxic people. It's why many people now prefer to use forums because they are more homely. X is one of the worst social media site where people are abused in the must condescending manner and nothing is done about it.

I have had that experience and when that happens I do not argue but just move away

I have been abused many times on X. That place is the absolute toxic breeding ground. People just drop insulting comments just to farm engagement.
