Since the take off on Wednesday evening for me, I have been tracking the historic moon mission launch, and so far it's been amazing to experience and follow.

I am watching the live stream below as it follows the mission to fly around the moon with Orion being on track to the moon after a successful burn and is not 520 miles away from Earth as I type this.

Normally this story would be right in my wheelhouse. I love science news! Alas, I've been pinned down in my day job in IT something fierce, so haven't been able to track it as much as I would like. The plans for the new moon shot, a later path to Mars, is nothing short of inspiring though.

Yes, and I was extremely disappointed. It was a super boring 2fps live stream that looked incredibly fake. After this trip, people doubt more than ever whether man landed on the moon. The photos they claimed were real—the supposed photos of the far side of the moon and all that—look so fake and AI-generated that nobody believed them. So I'm extremely disappointed with Artemis II.
