Absolutely. My favourite chair is on its third repair. There’s a story in keeping it going.

Forum Niche that you struggle to post on

What are some forum niches that you struggle to post on as a freelancer? I really struggle with sports and gaming forums. Do you research topics if you're asked to do a service or do you just avoid them?

Good question. I'd have to say pop culture focused forums. I just don't consume much in the way of contemporary films, television, video games, etc. in my daily life, so I'm just not abreast of current trends in entertainment to write authoritatively on the subject. It certainly is a common and well loved niche, but it isn't one I'd excel at.

This thread is amazing, for me I struggle to post on forex forum and sometimes crypto currency corner but now am learning extensively to work on those niched perfectly.

There are a few like sports I do not struggle but just do not go there

For me the most difficult forum topic was religion. If I were offered a job for a topic I’m not well versed in, I’d mention it upfront. Often the forum-owner is okay with posts in the general section if you’re honest. If that’s not what they want, it’s fine to just not take the job.

Same here. I don’t necessarily study religion and am not the biggest believer, so it would be a hard subject to discuss.
