Web Hosting
What type of web hosting do you have? How much does it cost each month? Does it work within your needs and how often do you evaluate it?
I use a New Zealand web hosting company since that is local to me. I pay about $15 NZD a month which provides the adequate space and features I need.
I am currently using NameCheap, and I am on their Stellar Plus plan, which costs me £4.89 a month at the moment.
It is working well for me right now, but I am always prepared to move if I outgrow this hosting plan.
I am a Trustee of a Charitable Trust and have plans to start a website. May be I will first go to Go Daddy and see what happens thereon
Having a local host that actually answers support tickets in your own time zone is worth every penny. I split my hosting depending on what the project needs. For static sites and my main portfolio at phcodesage.github.io,
I use GitHub Pages and Cloudflare, which cost nothing and load fast worldwide. When I deploy custom Python/Flask, Rust, or real-time WebSocket backends, I use cloud VPS instances that run around $5 to $20 a month, and I review usage every few months.
