Absolutely. My favourite chair is on its third repair. There’s a story in keeping it going.

How often do you head out for walks?

Heading out for walks is something I have found helps a lot with my mental health, and has helped a lot these past months since I lost my dad last April and my mum this past January.

How often do you walk? Do you find it helps your mental health taking regular walks?

I used to cycle...but then we moved to an area that had hilly, windy roads, so I couldn't get my bike out unless I drove an hour to a trail for a nice long ride. It wasn't worth it, so I switched over to walking/hiking. We have some great parks where I live and I can get a great workout, get away from everyone and everything and see deer, chipmunks, people riding their horses, sometimes the hunting hounds and all kinds of birds, rabbits, squirrels and snakes! When the weather is nice I love to walk about 5 days a week.

With Lagos heat and potholes, it's not easy to head out for a walk. But I try to do it early in the morning and before the heavy traffic. And I don't spend more than 30 minutes.

So sorry about the lost but I know how you feel because I was in same shoe with you but taking a short walk every morning and evening help reshape your memory infact I see it as an excercise and can help keep your body in normal State.

Doctor recommend that I do this everyday as of the last time I want to the hospital

I must admit that I do not walk that much. I reckon that I must reshape my schedule and I should get involved in physical activity. Things aren't going well for me and I really need to improve my health.

I have an offline work so this quality make go out everyday I will walk like 800 km to where we can see staff bus and enter ,so that distance of walk is enough at least for the next six months the contract will end I will have to walk all day for this period.

That is not bad If you have a walk that allow you to walk that far then it is not bad, during your walking to where the staff bus is you already excercise yourself and it's even better that way .

This will keep you in good health and ensure you are as well physically fitted.

I also live in a really hot city. The temperature won't just go down. Under such kind of circumstances, you may find it really hard to go on a walk, but it is still worth it. When you go out on a walk on a hit day, you sweat a lot. This certainly helps you to burn a lots of calories.
