What are the plans for this new Postloop revival?

I'm just curious what kinds of plans you have now that Postloop has been revived and on ForumSpark. It seems you will have great interest from the other ForumSpark communities and hopefully you'll get a lot of activity in the way of posts/threads here.

Currently, we are assembling a team of writers and enhancing activity on the PostLoop forums here at ForumSpark.

Once we have a team of writers we know is enough to fulfil orders, as I will pick these out based on their content around the forum, we will be rolling out the tiered subscriptions that we are currently working on :)

I should have a roadmap a little later today that lays things out a little better :)

A problem is these types of sites often don't last. For instance, GetPaidToPost.net, is now offline.

This is very true, which is why we are taking a different approach to ensure that we will have the funds to pay our writers going forward :)

We will have a roadmap very soon, but we will not be pushing the service too fast until we know we have writers that are up to the standards we are looking for :)

I hope they all have the same quality of posting style that you do Shortie! I hate to say this, but sometimes when English is not a first language, you can tell that it's a paid posting. Not always though!

This is what we will be looking for closely :)

I do want to add that we plan on bringing in a fully custom platform to Postloop. While support and initial scouting for new writers will be done through this FS forum. Shortie is the main face behind Postloop, while I will be more focussed on the behind-the-scenes operations.

Gizmo:

I hope to see blogs being included rather than just forums. I wouldn't mind paying for a subscription if I could get blog comments.

This is something that we will be adding, as we know that many still run blogs, and we know there is a market for blog posts/comments as well as forum posts and threads :)

This appears to be an exciting opportunity as I love to write and interact with other like minds. I will be watching the developments with eager anticipation.

That said, I think the question on many of our minds is "how will this be different than the old PostLoop?"

Simply put, the service went away for one big reason: it didn't work. At least not for forum owners anyway. Hundreds of forums filtered through the service, but only a tiny minority even survived, let alone really took off. Forum management finally figured it out and the number of venues listed there collapsed dramatically towards the end.

For content writers, it was a bit better, but it had some serious negatives. Not the least of which comically low pay and being at the mercy of a highly dubious rating system.

Anyway, I am looking forward to what comes next. And if I can do anything to help, I would be glad to do so. :)

I think that this new face of PostLoop is awesome. I never had been a member of the previous version of PostLoop. However, this version of PostLoop looks awesome as well, since @Shortie is the person who is administering the forum.

I am glad to see Postloop making a comeback. I look forward to seeing what it becomes.

For now, I have positive expectations. The idea is good, and if it's implemented correctly, it should work without problems. The hardest part is already done: finding clients willing to pay for the content. Finding writers seems to be the easiest part; there are many people who want to work here. You just have to weed out the unsuitable ones and keep the suitable ones, and that's it. Anyway, let's hope the project takes off and is a complete success.

I want to share some details regarding this.

For us, it is important to first understand the actual need for Postloop and gather feedback from the community. Is it still wanted? Do people still need a service like this? Do we have writers interested in participating? Do we have community owners looking for this kind of support?

It is undeniable that things have shifted and times have changed. Platforms like Postloop are far less active and in demand than they once were. So before we go all in on developing a new platform that automates the entire process, we want to get a better idea of where we stand.

For the time being, and more details will be revealed soon once we have discussed this internally, the Postloop process will be handled manually through the forum.

I have started developing the new Postloop system, but I will be completely honest: I do not expect it to be finished within the first few months. I am hoping to release it before December later this year, but we will need to be patient.

Right now, I am focused on building the new software for ForumSpark 2.0. Once that is finished, more time will be made for Postloop.

Thanks.

What a mess! No work until the end of the year? I was told there were plenty of clients, that they just needed to find the writers. If that's the case, count me out. Anyway, thanks for your honesty and good luck with the project.
